Why community tourism?
We are all searching for a place that welcomes us wholeheartedly - a place of community. This is what we want each guest to feel when they come to Panuluyan. They get to live with us, maybe even live like us, and become one of us - our kaFARMilya.

Why a kubo?
A kubo is familiar to all Filipino families. Most families in the province may already live in one. It is made using materials found in their surroundings such as bamboo and cogon. We chose this iconic Filipino house for it's familiarity and replicability. Farmers are able to build simple but comfortable kubos in their lands and tourists are able to stay in rural and rustic accommodations surrounded by nature.

Why Marinduque?
Dubbed as the "Heart of the Philippines" due to its shape and location, traveling around Marinduque, you will find authentic and honest people. Panuluyan is located in the mountains of the municipality of Santa Cruz, 16 km from the town plaza. It is for those who want to getaway from the noise of the city or the crowds of the more commercialized tourist destinations. It is not for everyone, but those who choose to cross the sea find that they've left their heart at the Heart of the Philippines.
